To have a say, you have to be counted and to be counted, you need to take part. The 2020 census is an opportunity for Sikhs in Yorkshire and the UK to have their say. It takes a snapshot of life and provides important information which helps inform policies at a central and local government scale. The data helps plan for services such as schools and health services. It can also provide important data on disadvantage within the UK.

The census only happens every ten years and it’s mandatory for each household to fill it in.
