Sikh Alliance Yorkshire were asked to by the Home Office and MHCLG to start a delicate and sensitive conversation about the repatriation service for people who wanted to return back to India, but who had missing legal documents, leaving them in limbo between the UK and India. Members of the Sikh community were invited to attend the meeting and informative and productive dialogue ensued setting out the support that was available.
